An informational meeting regarding:
In June of 2017, the Town filed a Solid Waste Disposal Area Disruption Application for the installation/replacement of landfill gas wells and associated header equipment to increase the system’s collection and control efficiency. As required by Air Permit No. 097-0114, Part V the changes to the GCOCS required retesting of the flare’s exhaust stream. Results of the test program indicated increases of sulfur dioxide (SO2) greater than 15 tons per year. This increase triggers the requirement for a permit modification in accordance with RCSA 22a-174-3a and the need to hold a Public Information meeting.
The meeting was held via the Zoom web conference service on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 7:00pm.
